Treating Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea is a serious condition that impacts overall wellness, in children and adults.  Signs and symptoms of sleep issues include:

  • Snoring

  • Tiredness throughout the day

  • Restless sleep

  • Headaches

  • Insomnia

  • Mood Changes

  • Depression

  • ADHD

Appliances for Jaw Development

Healthy Jaw Development is the foundation of the oral cavity. When the upper and lower jaws develop correctly, we can prevent crowding of teeth, improve nasal breathing, and minimize the potential for future health conditions in adulthood, including Obstructive Sleep Apnea.  Signs and symptoms of improper growth and development include:

  • Crowding of upper and lower teeth

  • History of thumb sucking

  • Mouth breathing

  • High, narrow roof of the mouth

Oral Appliance Therapy

We are proud to provide Oral Appliance Therapy for sleep apnea. It is a comfortable, non-invasive and simple treatment.

An oral appliance has a slim profile and keeps your airway open while you sleep, allowing you to breathe freely.

Dental Jaw Expansion

This daytime-nighttime appliance gradually expands the palate and/or lower jaw.  The oral cavity takes on a more developed structure; the jaw and tongue assume better positions; the airway opens and remains open to supply the body with oxygen-rich airflow. Oral and overall health problems can subsequently diminish and disappear.
